Solveiga is a sustainable fashion brand, based in France. We were initially tasked with creating their branding at the inception of the company. As the brand grew and began to expand beyond local sales, we transitioned Solveiga to e-commerce, helping them establish a strong online presence to support their business growth.
Introduction
Solveiga is a fashion brand specializing in high-quality knitwear for women. Founded by a Latvian designer based in France, the brand merges Baltic craftsmanship with modern European aesthetics, focusing on timeless silhouettes and sustainable production. When preparing to launch, Solveiga needed a brand identity that communicated refinement, warmth, and craftsmanship. Later, as the brand grew, it became clear that the e-commerce experience had to match the premium nature of the products, offering a seamless shopping experience.
Paldies Studio was brought in to develop the brand identity from the ground up upon their launch. After the fashion brand was established, we were brought in to design and develop a Shopify website that would allow Solveiga to join the e-commerce market and increase sales.
Shaping the Brand Identity
Solveiga needed a brand that felt high-end yet inviting—minimalist but not cold. It had to stand out in the competitive fashion market while staying true to the designer’s heritage. The goal was to create a brand that reflected craftsmanship, sustainability, and effortless elegance.
We started by defining the brand’s core values: sophistication, quality, and natural beauty. These ideas shaped everything from the logo to the color palette. The wordmark is clean and modern, designed to work seamlessly across digital and physical spaces. The colors—soft, earthy neutrals—draw inspiration from natural fibers and high-quality materials. Every detail, from typography to subtle design textures, was chosen to reflect the depth and warmth of Solveiga’s knitwear.
From packaging to social media, the branding remains consistent and refined. It positions Solveiga as a premium fashion label while creating a connection with its audience.
Expanding Solveiga Into E-Commerce
After establishing Solveiga’s brand identity, the next step was bringing it online. As the brand grew, they wanted an e-commerce experience that reflected the same level of quality and craftsmanship as their knitwear.
We focused on creating a seamless, mobile-friendly shopping experience that allowed customers to easily explore collections, learn about the products, and make purchases. High-quality imagery and clean design kept the focus on the garments while providing an enjoyable browsing experience.
The e-commerce platform is an ongoing project, designed to support future growth and adapt as Solveiga continues to expand.
